On behalf of the Middlesex County Plowman’s Association and the local committee, we
are pleased to welcome you to the Canadian Plowing Championships 2026 in Strathroy
Ontario.
The Middlesex County Plowman’s Association has a rich history of top-level competitors
in its 90 years of existence, with many Ontario and National Champions crowned.
We are proud to host the National Championship in a thriving area, located off the 402
between London and Sarnia. The local committee has been working tirelessly to make
sure that this is an unforgettable event. Agriculture is at the forefront of our local
economy with some world class Food and Agriculture businesses in our own backyard.
We first want to thank our host farmer, Junior and Karen Van Geffen for providing a top-
notch site for the competition. A great plowing match can not happen without soil to
turn, and we are confident that the fields will provide a canvas for some beautiful
plowing.
This September, competitors from all over Canada will be welcomed to Strathroy for
three days of competition September 2-4.
Don’t miss out!
