The countdown has started for the 2024 Canadian Plowing Championships on Wolfe Island, Ontario!
Please mark Wednesday, August 28th through Friday, August 30th on your calendars to attend the Canadian Plowing Championships. It will be held at the host farm of Henry and Janine (Handforth)
Postumus, 1227 Reeds Bay Road, Wolfe Island Ontario. Just a short ferry ride to the island from Kingston.
Contestants will be competing to become the Canadian Plowing Champion in the Senior Conventional, Senior Reversible and Junior Conventional classes. The Senior Champions will be eligible to plow at the 2025 World Ploughing Championships to be held in the Czech Republic.
This is a unique event, that is focused on the art and sport of plowing at its highest level. You can be assured that the host organization, the Wolfe Island Plowmen’s Association, will be showing all involved a great time. Come join us at a picturesque location for a great event!
